Transport from "Bullock cart"

Before invention of mechanical vehicles,the most famous & affordable transportation media was the bullock carts.These carts were used to transport passengers ,but mostly they are used to transport & distribute goods.
     Several carts were linked together by a leader,who  directed all the other bullock carts to their destination.There wasn't very good roads as today,so they had to pass most dangerous & hard paths.
    This task wasn't easy ,so it brought fatigue to the bulls & even drivers.

තණ කවලා.. ගොන් දෙන්නට දී    වතුර ...
නතර  වෙලා  අද රැ දා..ලෙහි       වැතිර ...
එළිවෙන යාමේ ..පිට වී යමු හිත    මිතුර ...

කළු  ගල්  තලා..ලය්  පාරට               දමන්නේ ...
එම ගල් පෑ..ගිලය්  ගොන් කුර       ගෙවෙන්නේ ...
ගොනා නොවෙය් ..හරකය්  බර          අදින්නේ ...
කිරි ගල් පොත්තේ .. කන්දය් මේ        අදින්නේ...

මන්දාරමට උඩ ඉගිලෙන වැහි       ලෙනී... 
ගොනුගේ පිටට ..දැම්මා වැනි බර ගෝනි...
වෙලා මැද අම්බලම කාටත් පර      වේනි...
මට තනියට ..නුඹ නාඩන් උල       ලේනි...

එකට  විතර  මම  ගෙදරින්  පිටත්      වෙලා ...
දෙකට  විතර ..අම්බලමක  වාඩි        වෙලා...
තුනට විතර පේරාදෙණිය ලං             වෙලා ...
හතරට විතර. මගේ නොන්නෝ මතක් වෙලා...

රත්නපුරේ තිරිවානා          කැටියේ දී....
ගැටන් දොළේ පැල් වාඩියේ   ගමේ දී.... 
පතුල් පාන වැලි මළුවේ      හෙලේ දී....
කතක් දුටිමී..සන්නස් ගම    වෙලේ දී....

The English meaning of the same poem

Granites are used to construct the road,
but the hoofs of bulls are decaying from it,
not the bulls cows pull the load,
so this is the mountain of "Kirigalpoththa" which we ride.
